EXHIBITOR FEEDBACK

We were very pleased with the show and sold a good % of product per visitor during the weekend. We would come back again

We initially introduced the general public to our innovative new product, The Easidream™, at the first Southern Baby and Toddler Show and the response was overwhelming.

We were inundated with volunteers for our trials and many people signed up to receive information about our product when it is launched later in the summer.

The diverse population demographic proved incredibly valuable in determining our marketing strategy and we were able to form initial partnerships with many of the other exhibitors attending the event.

A thoroughly worthwhile experience which was made all the more significant by the fantastic team of staff on hand organising the event.

Well done and thank you Lynn and Jan.

We will be more than happy to exhibit again at the next show.

Lynda Harding. The Easidream™, from Sweet Dreamers Ltd

Thanks so much for organising me a stand for the show - it's been really useful and I have a crop of new participants! Thanks for your support.
Kate - Portsmouth University

I think the show was very successful.
Regards Liz Jackabellas

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for our fantastic location for our stand ...we were really pleased.

On behalf of the libraries team we had a great time and the show gave us the opportunity to engage with many library user and non-users, getting over the message of the importance of the early use of books and rhyme. We joined over 50 children and very willingly promoted our neighbour authorities as a great number of attendees came from outside of the city. Our storytime and Rhymetime sessions remained casual and on demand, but the area was in constant use by family groups using the books throughout the two days. The show also gave us the chance to distribute the Bookstart packs and again this was very successful - approx 110 distributed to Portsmouth families and others informed how to get theirs. The overall organisation of the event was excellent with good set up and take down support and I could not fault the level of communication - well done to all of you. I hope you will invite us again. Best wishes

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity of working with you both last weekend. I'm sure you would have been pleased with the turnout, I look forward to working with you both again in the very near future. Kind regards

Bob the Builder was at the show, collecting donations towards The Elizabeth Foundation's Raise The Roof Appeal, a new-build project that will be doubling the size of their existing Family Centre in the grounds of QA Hospital. Alison Robinson, Fundraising Manager of charity for deaf children, says "We were delighted to be part of this weekend show, raising awareness of our newborn hearing screening services and our pre-school for deaf children".
Ali - Elizabeth Foundation

Excellent show! Received a record number of client enquiries and had a busy week processing them the following week at work. I discussed the event with the rest of the team and as it was such a success- I think we will attend both days with two members of staff (instead of just me!) if you run it again next year. Anyway, thanks again and well done on a perfectly planned and well attended event!
Katherine - Portsmouth Chat

Thank you very much for taking care of us at the Show. For us it was the first time, so lots of lessons learned? It was 2 days of work , but we have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would definitely consider coming back next year. Best regards,
Maria - Sleepy Nico

Wow We came back the next day for more.
Debbie

I just wanted to drop a line to say how impressed I was with the show this weekend.
Fiona

A great variety of stalls - would have liked to have tried out some buggies
Jen

I told my childminder about it and she came the next day.
Sue

I had lots of positive feedback from my mums who attended the B&T Show. Well done! Is this going to be a regular event?
Kim

Great to have a free event- thank you - when are you doing this again ?
Nic

It was a great event - and I have won a competition - Im so pleased.
Helen

The show was great, the variety of displays were good, lots on offer, and of interest to both the antenatal mother and families with young children. It seemed busy and the feedback from the girls on the Surestart stand and Midwifery was that they had been very busy. I thought everything looked very professional and I think your decision not to include Infant Feeding Companies was a brave one, so that Breastfeeding was clearly being promoted in force which is fantastic. Well done
Claire

Lots to see - we spent all day at the Show - when is the next one ?
Carol
